This luxurious mansion was built using a recycled JUMBO JET.

The homeowner needed special permission to build it so pilots flying overhead didn’t mistake the massive house for a crashed plane.

Architect David Hertz bought the scrap Boeing 747 for just £21,600 and used it to build the stunning house in the remote hills of Malibu, California.

He was hired for the job by homeowner Francie Rehwald, who wanted curves and feminine shapes for her dream house.

Francie interviewed 12 architects before deciding on David Hertz Architects and spent 15 years searching the globe for the perfect piece of land.
