David Hertz contributes to VSA project to save Venice trees

Strong winds brought by El Nino threaten to topple many local Italian Stone Pine trees around the Venice Post Office.  While the city and Post Office recognize the urgency, there are no available funds for the necessary maintenance required to prune the trees and keep them safe.  David Hertz and others in the Venice Stakeholders Association (VSA) have contributed the necessary funds to complete the trimming.

If they receive proper care, these trees have the potential to outlive all of us.
— Mark Rayvec, VSA President
